Creamsource Vortex8 RGB LED Light Panel Kit

The Creamsource Vortex8 is a high-output 650W 2×1 RRGBBW LED fixture designed to deliver serious punch from a relatively compact panel. Its native 20° beam angle produces an intense, directional source with approximately 13,900 lux at 3 meters at 5600K. Creamsource positions its output in the territory of a 1.2K HMI Fresnel, making the Vortex8 a great option when you need to push light through diffusion, create a strong bounce, or compete with daylight.

The Vortex8’s RRGBBW color engine combines red, deep red, green, blue, royal blue and white emitters for accurate white light and rich saturated color. It offers a huge 2200K–15,000K CCT range, plus green/magenta adjustment, HSI, XY, digital gels, direct RGBW control and built-in effects. CRI and TLCI are both rated at a typical 95.

What makes the Vortex8 particularly versatile is its concentrated native beam. Run it open-face for a hard, punchy source, bounce it for maximum efficiency, or add diffusion and accessories to turn the same fixture into a large, soft source. The fixture also includes eight independently controllable zones, allowing for animated effects and more advanced lighting setups.

Built for demanding production environments, the Vortex8 is IP65 weather resistant and houses its power supply directly inside the fixture—no separate ballast to find a home for. It can operate at full output from either AC or regulated 48V DC power, making it equally useful on stage or out on location. Integrated LumenRadio, DMX, Ethernet and Bluetooth provide plenty of options for wireless and console control.

For high-speed cinematography, the Vortex8 offers a dedicated mode capable of flicker-free operation beyond 5,000 fps, along with a sync input for synchronizing the fixture directly to a camera shutter.
