Fujinon Premista 28-100mm T2.9

The Fujinon Premista 28-100mm T2.9 is a large-format cinema zoom designed to cover an incredibly useful range without sacrificing the look and performance expected from high-end cinema glass. Covering a 46.3mm image circle, the Premista is at home on full-frame and large-format cameras while maintaining a constant T2.9 aperture throughout the entire 28-100mm zoom range.

Designed for high-resolution digital cinema, the Premista delivers excellent sharpness from the center to the edges of the frame while maintaining natural color, smooth tonal reproduction, and controlled flare and ghosting. A 13-blade iris produces smooth, rounded bokeh, making the lens feel much closer to a set of cinema primes than a traditional production zoom.

The 28-100mm range covers roughly the same territory as a standard six-lens prime set, making it a great choice for commercial, narrative, documentary, and studio work where speed and flexibility matter. A 280° focus rotation provides plenty of room for precise focus pulls, while the lens also supports Cooke /i and ZEISS eXtended Data for transmitting lens metadata to compatible camera systems.
