Krasnogorsk-3 16mm Camera

The Krasnogorsk-3 is a classic Soviet-era 16mm motion picture camera known for its simple mechanical design, distinctive film character, and compact handheld form. The camera uses standard 100′ daylight spools of 16mm film and features a spring-wound motor, allowing it to operate completely without external camera power. Frame rates are selectable from 8 to 48 fps, along with single-frame operation.

This M42-mount K-3 comes paired with the original Meteor-5-1 17–69mm f/1.9, a fast Soviet zoom that covers a useful range for handheld 16mm shooting. The reflex viewing system allows through-the-lens composition and focusing, while the M42 screw mount makes the camera compatible with a wide variety of vintage still and cinema lenses.

Also included is a vintage Peleng 8mm f/3.5, an ultra-wide manual-focus fisheye lens. Its native M42 mount allows it to mount directly to the K-3, providing a dramatically wider alternative to the Meteor zoom.
