Tilta Nucleus Auto Focus Adapter (PL to E)

The Tilta Nucleus Auto Focus Adapter brings autofocus functionality to traditional manual PL-mount cinema lenses when used with compatible Sony E-mount cameras. The adapter uses the camera’s native phase-detection autofocus data and translates it into motor-driven focus adjustments through Tilta’s Nucleus system, allowing manual cinema glass to take advantage of features like face and eye detection.

Designed for use with the Nucleus-M II and Nucleus Nano II systems, the adapter features a built-in lens library for quickly loading supported lens profiles without having to recalibrate each time. Additional lenses can be manually mapped and saved directly through the adapter.

Compatible Sony cameras include the FX3, FX30, FX5, and FX6. The adapter is not compatible with the Sony BURANO or FX9 due to physical differences with their locking E-mount systems.
